Initial conditions

Initial conditions are assigned to all components, kinetic and microbial species. If heat transfer is simulated, the temperature also has initial conditions.

Note: Initial concentrations for components and species are given in [moles/total volume].
The initial conditions for the temperature are given in [K], if applicable.

The initial conditions itself are set up in the panes Components, Chemical species (kinetic species only), Microbial species, and Heat (if heat transfer is simulated) of the input editor.
You can use the same initial condition for all nodes of the model domain for a component, species or the temperature, or heterogenously distributed values.
If you are using a heterogeneous distribution, clicking the button Text editor will pop up a separate dialog window for the mesh property dialog with the initial condition as editable property.
